Job Overview:
We seek a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Workday Financials Consultant (Implement/Configure) to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Financials solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience implementing and configuring Financials systems, requirements capturing, configuration, data conversion, and testing. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and able to partner with customers and your project team successfully.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand client business requirements and configure the Workday solution to satisfy those requirements.
  • Demonstrate the configurations by developing prototype systems.
  • Assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
  • Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it in all engagements.
  • Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday’s proven solutions.
  • Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist the Integration team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
  • Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants.
Requirements:
  • Workday proficiency and consultant (not client) certification in 2 or more of the following:
    • Procurement
    • Strategic Sourcing
    • Customers/AR/Billing
    • Core Finance including FDM
    • Projects
    • Grants
    • Inventory
    • Expenses
    • Banking & Settlements
    • Assets
  • 3+ years implementing Workday Financials with a consulting and/or software company.
  • 1+ years Public Sector (local, state, or federal) experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Recommended:
  • Experience deploying multiple Workday Financials projects simultaneously.
  • Industry experience in Finance/Accounting.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
