Job Overview: We seek a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Workday Financials Consultant (Implement/Configure) with a specialization in Grants Management to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Financials solution with public sector clients through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate for this position should have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in Workday modules, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and able to partner with customers and your project team successfully.
Responsibilities:
Workstream Leadership: lead and manage Workday Financials Grants workstream
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze processes, and recommend solutions that leverage Workday functionality to meet business needs.
Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Workday modules to support business processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability for future growth. As needed, demonstrate configurations be developing prototype systems.
Data Conversion: Work with clients to help convert legacy data into the Workday ecosystem.
Integration: Assist the Integrations team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-part/custom solutions.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Workday configurations.
Issue Resolution and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday-related issues and inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and providing timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted system operations.
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it in all engagements.
Ensure clients takes advantage of Workday’s proven solutions.
Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants.
Requirements:
Active Workday Partner Certification in either: Contracts to Cash or Record to Report or Adaptive Planning; and Grants Management
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday implementation, configuration, and support, at least one year of which has been implementing Workday Launch projects.
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
1+ years US Public Sector experience (federal, state, local, regional, K-12, Higher Ed).
Located within the US and able to travel to client if/as needed.
Demonstrated ability in business analysis and requirements gathering.
Additional active Workday consulting Certifications.
Experience working at an IT Professional Services consulting firm.
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
